Jahangir (Jan) Doongaji

Chief Executive Officer
Jahangir Doongaji (born 1967) has been CEO of the Hilti Group since January 2023. He has been part of Hilti’s Executive Board since 2014 and was previously responsible for the Electric Tools & Accessories Business Area. Jahangir Doongaji holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, as well as an MBA from INSEAD, France. After working for ABB in international functions for eight years, he started his Hilti career in 2000, initially leading customer service in the Swiss Market Organization. After that, he held various positions in marketing and as a business unit head. Prior to joining the Executive Board, Jahangir Doongaji headed Hilti’s largest Business Unit, Power Tools & Accessories.
Felix Hess

Corporate Functions
Felix Hess (born 1975) joined the Executive Board in 2023 and has since been responsible for Finance, Tax, Human Resources and IT. After graduating from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland, and the University of Singapore with a master’s degree in business administration, he started his professional career at Arthur D Little’s Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice before moving to Porsche Holding GmbH where, among other responsibilities, he led its Zurich finance branch. Felix Hess joined Hilti in 2011 as Head of M&A & Strategic Controlling at the company’s global headquarters. His roles since then included responsibilities for Finance in the Southern Europe region from 2012 to 2015, and in the Asia Pacific region from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, Felix Hess became Head of Global Finance & Controlling in Schaan.
TASSILO DEINZER

Fastening & Protection Business Area and Global Logistics
Tassilo Deinzer (born 1971) joined the Executive Board in 2022 and has since been responsible for the Fastening & Protection Business Area and Global Logistics. He holds a master’s degree in physics from the University of Bayreuth, Germany. Before joining Hilti, Tassilo Deinzer worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and the Boston Consulting Group in Munich, Germany. He started his Hilti career in Corporate Development in 2003. After leading corporate strategy work at Hilti North America, he relocated to Germany to assume responsibility for one of the sales regions. From 2006 on, Tassilo Deinzer had multiple roles as head of various business units at Hilti headquarters. In 2013 he moved into the position of Head of the Power Tools & Accessories Business Unit.
THOMAS HILLBRAND

Electric Tools & Accessories Business Area and Corporate Research
Thomas Hillbrand (born 1975) joined the Executive Board in 2022 and has since been responsible for the Electric Tools & Accessories Business Area and Corporate Research. After graduating from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany, with a master’s degree in electrical engineering and business administration, he started his professional career at McKinsey & Company in Munich, Germany. Thomas Hillbrand joined Hilti’s Corporate Development in 2005 before moving to the German Market Organization in 2007 where he initially led the Hilti Stores. In 2009, he took over responsibility for the Electric Tools & Accessories Business Area in Germany and later for the Central European region. Upon returning to headquarters in 2012, he led the marketing teams of different business units. In 2017, Thomas Hillbrand assumed the role of Head of the Measuring Systems Business Unit.
AVRAHAM (AVI) KAHN

Asia and Americas, Energy & Industry
Avraham Kahn (born 1977) has been a Member of the Executive Board since January 2020 and is responsible for the markets in Asia and the Americas, as well as the Energy & Industry business. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Bellevue University, USA. After working in sales and sales management at Texma Chemicals, USA, Avraham Kahn started his Hilti career in 2004. Following management positions in the USA, he was promoted to General Manager for Hilti Canada in 2011. In 2017, Avraham Kahn took over responsibility for the entire North America region.
Joaquim Sardà

Europe, Middle East & Africa, Strategic Marketing
Joaquim Sardà (born 1974) has been a Member of the Executive Board since January 2020. He is responsible for the European, Middle East and African Markets and for Strategic Marketing. Joaquim Sardà holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain, as well as an MBA from INSEAD, France. He worked in construction site management at Dragados, Spain, prior to joining Hilti in Corporate Development in 2005. Later he held multiple management positions in sales in Hilti Italy and Germany. In 2012, Joaquim Sardà took over the position of General Manager of the Italian Market Organization and the Southern Europe region.
