Hilti Ranks Eighth Among the World's Best Workplaces in 2022

Schaan (FL), October 14, 2022 – Hilti has been cited as one of the World’s Best Workplaces for 2022. The accolades are given by Great Place to Work (GPTW), the worldwide industry leader in quantifying employee experience.

This is the sixth time in the past eleven years in which Hilti has received the coveted GPTW recognition. The ranking captures the perspective of both the employees and the organization, the former accounting for two-thirds of the final score. The employees share their perspective via an anonymous survey (Trust Index) while the organization reports on a list of key performance indicators (Culture Brief) and undergoes an evaluation of its human resources processes and measures (Culture Audit) conducted by GPTW. To be recognized as one of the best workplaces, organizations must achieve a Trust Index of at least 70 percent and meet the criteria established in the Culture Audit.

“Our company’s caring and performance-oriented culture is the foundation of our success. Hilti’s business model is built on direct customer relationships and innovation, so our team members are the key to this success. We are relying on highly engaged, self-motivated, and skilled colleagues to do their best every day! It is our deep conviction, and data supports this, that only engaged employees can lead to loyal customers. This is why we cater equally to the bottom line and to the engagement and well-being of our teams. Being recognized as one of the best companies to work for globally is extremely gratifying, as it confirms that we walk the talk,” stated Matthias Gillner, Member of the Executive Board.

Great Place to Work gains insights from over 100 million employees in 90 countries worldwide. This year the global accolades reflect Hilti’s ranking on 22 national Best Workplaces lists during 2021 and early 2022: Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Panama, the Philippines, Portugal, Qatar, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, and the United States.
