Hilti Launches Heavy-Duty Cordless Tools to Drive Productivity

Schaan (FL), October 21, 2025 – Hilti is broadening its portfolio by extending its groundbreaking Nuron battery platform with a new lineup of more than 60 products for heavy-duty applications. The first products will be launched in Q4 2025. This marks a significant step forward in increasing efficiency and resilience on the construction site.

The expanded range extends cordless capabilities into areas once considered beyond the reach of battery-powered tools. “With this launch, we are equipping construction professionals for the heaviest-duty applications that have traditionally been dominated by corded and gas-powered tools. We are increasing customer productivity while also taking comfort and safety on the jobsite into account,” says Thomas Hillbrand, Member of the Hilti Executive Board.

Hilti is adding more than 60 tools and accessories specialized in breaking, concrete cutting, wood cutting and soil compaction to its Nuron platform. Thanks to advanced engineering, the new batteries provide a higher power output and increased capacity. They also charge faster, helping achieve up to 25 percent greater efficiency on-site than before by ensuring equipment is ready to go whenever needed. The new tools include well-known Hilti safety and comfort features, such as vibration reduction, anti-kickback functionality and integrated dust control, improving safety and user comfort.

The new range of tools complements the more than 120 electric tools, batteries and chargers already on the Nuron platform, which was originally launched in 2022. Nuron is a cloud-connected 22-volt power tool battery platform that unifies a wide range of tools in a single ecosystem. The platform simplifies work on construction sites, increases performance, enhances tool park management and improves user health protection.

The integration of Hilti’s asset management software, ON!Track, gives contractors visibility into their tool and battery fleet. This translates to many benefits: faster cycle times, fewer unplanned delays, up to 20 percent lower unplanned downtime, reduced labor costs and ultimately higher project margins.

With a portfolio of cordless, corded and gas-powered tools, Hilti provides contractors with the highest flexibility in this segment of the market. This enables professionals to choose the right tool for the right task, which is especially important for heavy-duty operations. By offering a complete range of tools, Hilti streamlines both procurement and maintenance for its customers.
