2024 IT COMPETITION

SUPERCHARGE Workforce of the Future with Innovative Technology

Kuala Lumpur, June 4 – 7, 2024

The annual Global IT Competition is organized to provide a platform for junior talents from around the world to tackle daunting challenges from the construction industry. Undergraduate and postgraduate students globally are encouraged to participate and display their innovative ideas, helping to kick-start great careers.

The 2024 IT competition focuses on shaping the future workforce through innovative technologies. Examples:

  • AI in candidate matching. 
  • VR tours of the workplace, environment, and culture to boost candidate excitement and engagement.  
  • Effective training through AR/VR.
  • AI in knowledge management & access.
  • Increase collaboration at work through Metaverse.  
  • AI driven personal assistant/chatbot/onboarding platform or mobile apps.

Build your skills within the area of IT while showcasing your project to industry experts and receiving constructive feedback. 

Build your experience by competing against like-minded individuals from all over the world. You will have the chance to meet leading technologists and subject experts.

Build your career. All finalists will receive a fast-track application to a paid internship with Hilti. The internship will allow participants to develop ideas and bring them to life at Hilti. 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Step 1: Team Up! 
Apply alone, or form a team with a maximum of 5 members.

Step 2: Register! 
Register between November 1, 2023, and February 23, 2024. This can be done through the Register button above.

Step 3: Ideate! 
Come up with great ideas on how to revolutionize the construction industry!

Step 4: Submit Your Ideas! 
After registering your team, you will receive an email with a unique link to submit your ideas. The submission period is from November 1, 2023, to February 23, 2024.

Prizes

Grand Champion: Sponsored trip to Hilti’s IT Headquarter in Switzerland 
The winner will travel to our strategic locations in Buchs – Switzerland for an opportunity to meet the Hilti IT Leadership, learn more about Hilti IT services and build their network within Hilti. 

Second & Third Places: A Hilti Tool  
Second- and third-place teams will walk away with one Hilti power tool per participant. 

All finalists will have access to a fast-track internship application process at Hilti. The internship allows finalists to develop ideas and bring them to life at Hilti.
